The 2025 NCAA Women’s Frozen Four brought college hockey’s final teams to Ridder Arena in Minneapolis, where the season reached its closing stage on March 21 and 23. Hosted in Minnesota, the championship weekend featured semifinal matchups between Wisconsin and Minnesota, alongside Ohio State and Cornell, before Wisconsin captured its eighth national title. Beyond the intensity of competition, Frozen Four weekend carried moments of reflection and celebration — University of Minnesota forward Audrey Wethington was the recipient of the NCAA Elite 90 Award at the 2025 Women's Frozen Four banquet. The athletes, and supporters around the culmination of a season defined by resilience and rivalry.
